I have an 03 Tahoe with 93K miles. I was driving thru a gated community with LOTS of speed bumps (13 each way!) When slowly going over them I would hear and feel a "clunk" when the rears would go over. After maneuvering thru a few i noticed the noise was mainly on the right side. Could this be shocks? I'm kinda hoping to be able to work on it over this weekend. Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

If you find it, post it here. I have an 01 that knocks around ferociously like it's a shock bushing at the mount point. I am taking it in to a shop to check it out next week, drives me NUTS on snow covered roads to hear that knocking all the time.

Lift up the rear on jackstands and check the suspension with a big ass prybar to see any play in shock bushings, control arms, and sway bar ends.

My 06 Tahoe has the same clunk issue. Mostly from the rear end of the car but sometimes I think I hear it in the front as well. I can never get the car to replicate the noise for the dealer. They have checked the brakes and trans, no issues. The clunk comes at low speeds for me. I have heard other discussions about loose body bolts on other forums, not sure if that has anything to do with it? If any one finds a fix, please post. Thanks
