Rear Storage Compartment?

Is storage in the rear side compartments optional? Or is there none at all?

I am suprised at the lack of storage in such a large vehicle...
It seems as tho the rear side panels should be removable with storage behind them as I am pretty sure that there is some empty space in there
Please fill me in on this...THANX!

I have one in the left rear side in my suburban, not very big but atleast there is one.

There is the small one in the left rear of the cargo area and there is also a little bit of room where the factory jack is that you can store small things.

I have a set of jumper cables and a tow strap in mine. I wouldn't recommend it if you have the power liftgate though...

If you have the power hatch, then the only storage is where the jack is.

I have the power lift gate and I have a storage compartment, but it's also a suburban.
