My AutoRide system on my '07 LTZ is completely shot. I am planning on replacing with standard HD shocks. I tow a 30' TT so I need something that can handle the load. Any suggestions on replacements.

I replaced with Monroe shocks after 2002 autoride system failed.

FYI the computer in my Tahoe showed the autoride system light continuously until I
found that one could use resistors to override and "trick" the system

Thanks, I am kind of suprised there is no indication or idiot light to tell me the system failed. Both controller boxes bad and a blown shock. well over 2K to fix and not worth it.

Mine didn't either. Noticed when trailering a tri-axel trailer. The resistors cost $11 with shipping. The mechanic didn't want to install.....because the wires need to be cut & soldered (sp).
