Hi, new around here.

I bought a used 2007 Tahoe and I want to replace the rear shocks, because they feel worn out. I know the former owner often towed his bikes, so I suspect my rig needs new shocks.

The question is, How would I know if my Tahoe has autoleveling shocks? Is there any visible difference compared to "normal" shocks? I got under the truck and seem to be very tipical kind of shocks, at least as I know them.

I would like to replace them with aftermarket shocks, but If it has the autoleveling thing, I would like to keep it oem.

I live in Mexico and asked the dealer what kind of shocks it has, they didn't tell me, so I will have to find out by myself.

Thanks!

Roberto

I believe there's a size difference and color. What color are they?

Thanks for replying. They are blue with something like a cover on the top half of the shock in black..... no wires or lines.... I'm suspecting they are w/o self leveling....

Am I right?

If you look on the inside of the glove box door, it should tell you if you have the autoride option or not.

Those are the same shocks I have, so you don't have air ride.
