I own an '06 Escalade and I wasn't getting any rear heat, just blowing cold. I found the actuator that is supposed to control this door and found that no matter where I set the temp., the actuator just moves to it's maximum position (cold). I set the door to heat (full counter clockwise)manually and left the actuator unhooked for now so I have heat for this winter. My questions are: (1.)Do you think I need a new actuator or do you think it is another problem? (the actuator moves when powered, as mentioned, but it just goes to max. position regardless of temp. setting). (2.)Does this system blow air conditioning to the rear as well as heat,or is it just ventillation (outside air)in the summer? If anyone has any help on this matter it will be much appreciated. Thanks.
P.S. I'm new to this forum so forgive me if this topic has been beat to death already as it seems to be a common problem.
