I have a leak coming from the top of my rear hatch. I have replaced the upper gasket and the entire surrounding gasket. i do not see how the upper gasket is supposed to keep water out. is it only for when you open the hatch? Can someone take a picture of theirs so I can see if it is on the right way?

Any other ideas?

Thanks'

I really do not see a way of putting in on backwards. It has slits cut out for the hinges and one for the cables/hoses that go to the glass. All of the slits line up and the crimp grove can only face one way. I think I have it on correct but I do not know if the flap piece has to be pushed in to place somehow.
