Rear Axle Swap

Anyone know if a 14 bolt, 8 lug rear axle will fit in a 97 Chevy Tahoe which currently has a blown up 10 bolt, 6 lug rear now. I need to swap the blown one out and was thinking of going BIGGER!!:thumbsup:
