Alright so i have an 02 LS without bose and onstar, standard. So i bought a jensen flip out head unit online and so i go to install it and i have already swapped all the door speakers with alpines and so i got the wiring harness and install kit from crutchfield and so the unit came and i wired up everything acorrding to the diagram. It all came on but no sound? I was at my mechanic the other day having a tune up and he even said he doesnt know what is wrong, we suspected the harness is wrong but crutchfield says it isnt but the head unit puts out b.c i can wire a speaker straight off the units harness and it will work. idk what to do and sound advice wants $200 to install anything with a screen.

Make sure the blue wire on the adapter is connected to the blue or blue/white wire from the deck. Even though it isn't the Bose Premium system, it still uses a standard factory amplifier.

It will play from the harness off the radio but not through the factory amp if the amp isn't powered up. The blue wire from the radio will power up the factory amp.
