Is your question concerning light output or something else?? Please specify. I have no experience with PIAA's yet. What I do know is the Silverstars are cheaper, while the PIAA's make a H11 bulb found in 07+ Tahoes that Silverstars don't. I have Silverstar Ultra's as highbeams in my Lexus and think they are absolutely great. I plan on changing out soon both the low/high beam lights on my Tahoe going with the PIAA Xtreme White Plus for the lows and the Silverstar Ultras for the highs.

As far as specifics that I am talking about you pretty much answered it in your opinion. I just bought the PIAA's Extreme White Plus today and installed them. I am waiting for tonight to see how well they really work. But the reason for the question is according to overall performance which of these two are better.

Thanks

I put the PIAAs in a few months ago, they are an improvement over stock, but as to if they are worth the cost...not sure.

Gambler, I totally agree with what you said. I got the H11 PIAA 4000, and yes they are an improvement over the factory bulbs, but are they worth $85. I really would never consider the 4000 again, I just assumed much more. I would rather pay 100 more for angel eyes projectors.

I have used Silverstars in my previous car, and even though they are brighter and whiter, I got really tired of constantly changing them out. I found them to burn-out much quicker than regular bulbs. So the look is great, the hassle and cost wasn't worth it. My 2cents

How so?? I followed the link to Plasmaglow's website only to find it uninformative about their products (replacement bulbs). Yes the 10-yr warranty is attactive, but I would like to know the specs of the bulbs - wattage, output i.e. 4000k, etc before I would buy.

Actully those would be worse than the stock bulbs. all they do is filter out every color but the blue for the super fake hid blue. so actully YOU SEE WORSE THAN STOCK.

an upgrade is the silverstars since their whiter and brighter. the PIAA's are also UPGRADE.

the link posted are a upgrade in looks (if your in to the fake look) and a huge downgrade in usuable light. dont buy. stick to PIAA or SILVERSTARS

Hi. If you need detailed technical bulb information, you can email me or Plasmaglow. We have used them in vehicles in our shop and we noticed an actual difference in output by our own eyes...

By the way, we deal the PIAA bulbs as well, whatever the customer wants. We have used all of the above, and I personally prefer the Plasmaglow bulbs. Bottom line, let us know if you need anything and any brand bulbs you want...
