Question About This Grille

I bought a used upper and lower chrome LTZ grille off of ebay from different sellers. The lower grille fits great, but the upper doesn't fit at all. I don't know what he sold me, but its not a Tahoe grille. Anyway, I was wondering if ya'll can tell me if the grille below is the LTZ grille. I just want to make sure that I dont buy the wrong thing. Well, the upper grille didnt come with the big black piece on top that has the four, 10mm screws. It seems that it wouldn't fit (tabs don't match up) even if I took the black part off of the grille I have. Thanks for the response.

I think you just have to take the stock black grille out and install the chrome one, any pics will help too?

I will get some pics up. But me and two other guys looked at this thing for thirty minutes and came to the conclusion that it wont work

I got the dealership to put my grille on. Take the top piece to the dealership to find out if its legit. If so go ahead and pay them for an hour's labor to put it on.

I bought the one below on eBay and it fits perfectly. It snaps in over the existing, and took me about 5 min to install. I have an early build 2007 LTZ with no chrome. $80 shipped.

Oh then something is def. wrong but I don't know what!
I couldn't imagine how he could have sold you the wrong grille even on accident because no ther car has a grille like the Tahoe.
Unless of course he sold you a bottom grille and not top on accident?

I think what he did was sold me a broken top. It came with the chrome piece that it fits around that includes the bowtie. What he did was just layed it in to make it appear that it works, but it just falls out. I sent the ebay seller an email and suprisingly he said he would refund my money. I was shocked because by reading his responses that he has sent me, he seems like a complete idiot.
