Projector Beams in 2008 Yukon Denali

Has anyone seen this? I saw it listed on the GMC website, but did not see any pictures.

I was thinking about doing the HID upgrade, but I am wondering if I could simply swap out the halogens for the projector beam.

Well, I guess it's good news that GM's making a projector headlamp assembly. When they're available, I guess if I like the look of them, I'll get the part numbers and order a set to use with my HIDs (as long as they're not ridiculously expensive). I wish some third-party manufacturers would hurry up a bit as well.

I was also thinking about upgrading to the HID style but after talking with a guy at the dealership I am thinking twice. Supposedly he stated that a customer had put some in their Yukon and the heat began to damage the lens. I have yet to hear anything else in regards to HIDs though.

I don't think that customer got real HIDs. HIDs actually run coole to the stock halogen lights, so it they melted the lens, he didn't have HIDs

I checked out a 2008 Denali at a dealership last weekend and the headlights appeared to be the same halogens as found in the 2007s. Maybe the projectors are late availability.

if i remember correctly the 00-06 denalis had projector beam, but still had halagon bulbs, also on the gmc site it just sais projector beam not projector beam hids, like the option on the new acadia.
