Hello, I have a weird issue with my 2004 Tahoe LS 5.3L.
When I bought the truck it didn't come with a Remote for Keyless Entry.
So I got a new one and went through the program\learning sequence but the new remote won't connect.
That sucks but no big deal, I've convinced myself it's possibly incompatible with a Chevy perhaps..
Anyways, my question which may or may not be related to that, is whenever I go to lock my doors via the driver side lock button it doesn't lock on the 1st time.
You have to press "lock" two times in order to make them lock.
The 1st time you press it, the internal chime goes off "ding, ding ,ding" but no locky, press it again and the doors lock.
Other than this anomaly the truck acts \ runs \ windows \blinkers \ etc. all work fine. Has anyone come across that before?
**Note that the door lock quirk was like this before I attempted to program the new remote**
