Power lift gate broke today....

After some really cool grinding noises, the gate barely lifts itself past the bumper. Dealership said new lift gate module ordered and will be replaced on Monday.

Anyone else experience a busted power lift gate? My truck is only 8 months old and 11,000 miles....

Negative Ghostrider, no trouble here. 17 months, 12K Miles, no issues. Would be curious to hear what exactly happened if you do find out...

Yup. Had mine replace under warranty.

It would make all the cool noises like it was lifting the gate, but nothing would move. Good times.

No issues since the repair.
