power lifgate won't open

I have a 2007 Tahoe. About a month ago or so my wife hit the remote to open the liftgate and it wouldn't open. You can here it working and it sounds like it is trying to open but can't. Like it doesn't have enough juice to do it. I read in the manual that there may be a lack of battery power. Anyone else had this issue?

Does the power liftgate work when you try opening it via the toggle switch on the inside of the truck?

Nope.It still sounds like it is working but can't open the liftgate.
