Bought a 1998 2 Door Tahoe. Doors lock automatically when put in gear and unlock when turned off but neither door button works. Any ideas where to start? Doesn't have a key fob. Thanks for your help

Probably bad door lock switches, can ohm them out.... That being said, www.rockauto.com lmctruck.com are a couple good places to look...

More info

All three switches are inoperable (back door) It would seem unlikely that all three were bad. Is there a fuse or relay that operates these?

You just bought it you said. Do you know if they all stopped at one time over individually over a longer time? We can assume if you want.

Good question, to which I do not have an answer. I have figured out another clue: the lumbar supports do not work. according to other posts the lumbar support and lock relay are tied into the cigarette lighter and accessory fuses. So I will check that out after work
