I just installed a planet audio touchscreen head unit in my 2003 Tahoe and it has Bose speakers. The quality of the sound is horrible and it will not get very loud. Have I hooked something up wrong, like the factory amp is not working or the new head unit isn't powerful enough? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

I would "guess" that you have something not hooked up just right and that maybe the signal isn't getting through the amp, etc. Double check all your wiring and rule that out and let us know what you find.

i got it!!!
Well I checked my wiring and I found the problem. The interface moduel I used had a screw to turn down the volume of the door chime. It also turns down the volume signal being sent to the factory amp. Thanks for the suggestions.
