Hi everyone,
New to the forum,
I'm helping a friend fix up his 03 Tahoe 2wd with disk brakes on all 4's.

2 question.

1. the parking brake adjuster mechanism has this pin that connects the lever to the non adjusting side where the pads connect. Is there any good way to make sure this pin is making a good connection?

One of his pins sheared off so we replaced all the hardware on both sides but we are not getting good parking brake action. I think the pin has slipped to one side. Before we go back in and re do the job i wanted to ask if anyone had any input. Pin is show in the attached item 5

2. in the diagram is a clip, item 10, not sure if this is used on this car, it came with the hardware kit. there is not one currently on the car so it may be for a different car.

I did search the forums and the internet trying to find info but i did not have any luck.

thanks in advance for any guidance
