Overriding DVD Feature on Radio

Alright so i have a jensen flip out and im wondering i do not feel like wiring the parking brake sensor. wat can i wire it too so it will think its on all the time? also if i do that will the other features not work properly?

Well, depending on which model Jensen, you can either ground the parking brake input wire straight to ground, or wire it to a switch and ground the other end of the switch. Some models have a sequence to engage the parking park for a couple seconds, release, then engage again. You'll be able to replicate this with a switch.

I have one that is a different brand, dual, and I was able to punch in a code. It overrode having to use the parking brake wire. Which model is it?

the older jensens u could punch in a code but u cant with this one.
i think i just might try the ground wire.

I know most say the codes don't work but try this:

Hit Setup On Remote.
Select Language.
Get Remote And Hit 5,4,3,2,1,0.
Listen For Beeps. Touch “Hammer/Screwdriver” Logo.
Select Brake Override
Switch To Brake Override “ON”
Now Hit Setup On Remote.
And Now Watch Movies

Another said this would work:

Connect the pink wire to the green/white wire. If you have a reverse camera and you have it hooked into the reverse positive like you usually would, Then you would have pink, green/white and your positive coming from the reverse lights all hooked together. The only thing i noticed, is if your watching a movie and you go into reverse, a flash sayinng the it is unlawfull to watch a movie **** comes on and then the reverse camera. happens so fast you cant even notice.

Sorry for all the cut and paste but I remember how frustrated I was when I got mine hooked up and we couldn't watch it!
