Onstar on 03 Tahoe

Im new here and am hoping someone can help me. I just purchased my 03 Tahoe Z71. The light next to the cross on the mirror is red. I was told it is suppose to be green Does anyone know what needs to be done to correct this?

According to another thread like this in another forum, red light means Onstar cannot connect to network.

Also someone in that thread mentioned that Ah **** it...

The red light means there is something wrong with the onstar system, or like others said, no comm with network due to said problem. As far as a fuse, there is one in the fuse box on the dr side of the dash labled SEO IGN 10 amp fuse, I cant see that it goes to anything else but pull it and see what happens. If something besides onstar doesnt work then put it back in.
