Hi everybody im trying to get some info or see if anyone has gone threw this problem that i have. My 05 tahoe recently started reading zero on my oil press. gauge. Oil reads good on my dip stick, but before i take it to get check and spend some money, im trying to see if anyone has gone threw this? Im wondering if it could be the sensing unit or cluster or something else? and if it is. See if anyone has done something that worked for them. any help would be great.

You best bet is to have your oil pressure actually tested by a shop. That way you can at least be sure you have oil pressure and go from there.
If I am not mistaken, if the oild pressure was going out, as a protection to your engine, it would not allow the engine to start or run for a long period of time.
