Oil Filters.......

Just about got 2 K on the hoe....yes we dont drive it much. First changewill be with full synthetic. Mobil one its gonna be.

What about filters......what do you guys recommend?

You'll get many responses on this subject. One thing most dont realize is the restriction in flow that some filters have , although they claim to filter down to a certain micron, they dont tell you about flow. I have always ordered a case of OEM filters with all my new GM vehicles and have never had an issue.
If they were so bad would GM use them? How many engines have needed to be replaced due to spun bearings or the such due to oil filter problems?
I dare say next to none.

You will not regret it!

I use both, the filter and the oil along with Lucas Oil Stabilizer for Synthetic Oil.

You can get the 5 quarts container of mobile one extended at walmart and the Stabalizer in Autozone. With the money you will save buyin the 5quarts conatainer vs. buying 6 separate quarts you can buy the stabilizer.

The GMT900 use 6 quarts of oil so you add one quart of Lucas Stabilizer to the 5 quarts of oil and you're done.:thumbsup:

why would you use the stabilizer with such an already excellent product like mobile one?
