There is no set weight amount for a specific wheel. They have to high speed spun and then diagnosed. Most of it depends on where tire is mounted on wheel.

I think he meant what the wheels weigh. All I know is that when I rotate my factory 20s, they're about the weight limit for me. Of course that big tire is heavier too.

I'm thinking the 20 should wiegh more becuase there is more metal. On my previous tahoe i went from a 16inch to a 22inch wheels and there was a signicant ( about 10 or 15 feet) increase in stopping distance and my mileage drop by 1 or 2 mpg.

Yes it is in reference to the actual weight of wheels/rims. OEM 17 LT's and the 20" LTZ OEM wheels. Im looking into getting forged wheels which only weigh 26lbs in a 20" and 28-29lbs in 22". I kniow tires add more weight too for the bigger 22" wheel. Trying to keep mileage up near stock stats.

Wow, make sure thoes are a good sturdy rim. That sounds pretty light duty.
They seem to be too light. The OEM tire alone (bridgestone) weighs 42 lbs in the 20's so that leaves 38-40 lbs for the OEM 20" rims. I did noticed a decrease in mpg, but not much, maybe 0.5mpg or so. You can check rim and tire weigh at www.tiretrack.com and have an idea of how much a good rim (bbs, american racing, etc) can weigh.
