Nothing but problems with my tahoe need help

I am a single mom in need of some help with my sons 1996 Tahoe please it is throwing a P300 which is a misfire. After changing plugs and wires anfd fuel filter it is still missing, Scanned it and know the 02 sensor is showing up. Truck is still running rough, Should I get the Distributor Cap and rotor replaced. And if so do you think it might fix the missing,

Up date, Did a compression test, all cylinders checked out good. Cleaned MAF sensor with CRC, changed out Dist. cap and rotter ,the truck is now running great.

Had the same problem with my 99 Yukon, turned out to be the intake gasket. My leak was small so I tried Bars Leak Gasket and Coolant Sealant (recommended by two mechanics), that did the trick. Be sure to follow the instructions.
