i just replaced the purge valve on top of the intake due to the old one opening and closing like a machine gun..guess if i had to describe the sound its kinda like an old school lifter tick..
i pulled the plug out of it and it stopped so i figured cool ill just replace the valve.well i did and still the same deal..i actually unplugged the new one and drove around a little while and everything was fine..oh yeah forgot to mention no codes through all of this..light has yet to come on even once.my best friend has same year tahoe and his sounds like mine used to nice and quiet..
has anyone ever went through this ? i just hit 45k
