no power before blower resistor

Hi guys what I got is a 03 Tahoe with climate control . The blower stopped running the other day. I heard something crack in the center of the dash then the blower stopped. Checked the fuses inside and out. I checked for power before the blower resistor with the engine running and the fan switch on hi. Nothing. Any input on where to go next would be great. Plan for now is more fuse checking with the meter. And read more posts. Thanks a bunch Gary
