No instrument lights on 1996 tahoe

Hi

I have a 1996 Tahoe LT 4 door 4wd. If you have any Idea I would appreciate it.

A few weeks ago ALL the instrument lights just didnt come on one night.

I have checked the following and all are ok:
Fuses Ok
Parking lights work
Radio Works
Interior lights work
PArking indicator light works
interior dimmer dial has been turned all directions and even on all the way.
Seat Belt, check engine and others all work.
The lights on the AC panel works on the buttons themselves but no back light.

Is there an after market light to just put in front of instrument panel to front light instead of back light?
Right now we are using a little key chain flash light

Check fuse 14 in IP fuseblock for power with the lights on.

If not power on either side of socket lights on, check Rheostat in dash orange wire for 12v feed to rheostat. Orange wire is fed from 20A fuse 9 in IP fusepanel. If power feeds are fine to rheostat and Dark Green wire is dead, then replace the Rheostat.
