No GPS on navigation unit

Recently received the latest navigation DVD and noticed that "No GPS" symbol is showing on nav screen. Appears for couple minutes then disappears. Although referenced in owners manual there doesn't appear to be any way to reset this. Anyone else experience this or have any suggestions?

I have the OCT 2007 disc. It happens from time to time. Don't know why. doesn't seem like it causes problems.

It takes time for the antenna to acquire a signal from the satellites. When I installed the new nav disc last week it must have taken at least 5-10 minutes for it to acquire. During that time it showed my position as parked somewhere in DC near the White House .

Since I park inside my garage I get that no GPS signal all the time when I start, but it doesn't usually take very long to get the signal once I'm outside. I'll also get that icon sometimes when I'm next to a tall building.
