I have a '99 Tahoe LT, and when I turn the headlights on, I get the running "glow", but when I hit the blinkers, the emergency flashers, or the brakes nothing lights up. I have no flashers or brake lights!...WTF?! Is it as simple as a fuse, or is it a "dealer installed rape me in price" relay?

there is a black connection box in the back under your hoe that has the taillight wires that go to it (its kinda like a 3 way plug, and depending if you have a towing package or not) and some times they get corroded and it stops the connections from happening.

i have to go with the trailer connector. sometime i don't have rear tail lights with the headlights on. luckily my brake lights have worked thus far.

pull the plugs apart and clean them up.
