Hi All -

I just bought a 00 Tahoe Limited about 5 days ago. Didn't know they existed a week ago, and I'm quite happy to have snatched this one up. Still educating myself on 'em. It just turned 99K original miles and is in overall excellent shape. Paint on everything 'cept the hood is a 9. Hood paint is bad...clear coat is peeling. The body is perfectly straight...not even a door ding.

Everything works on it as far as the mechanical stuff...wipers, windshield washer fluid, electric mirrors, gauges, etc.

And not a drop of anything leaks underneath. This thing has been well cared for. Motor feels in perfect health, as well as the rest of the drivetrain. Bone stock 'cept for my 1st mod...a K&N knockoff (Spectra) drop-in air filter.

It had a warped disc brake rotor, so I put R&R'ed new rotors, pads and bearings a few days ago. The other only thing it needs is new tires...

All in all, I'm very happy with it. I originally bought it to flip it, but now that I have it and have learned they're rare*, I'd like to hold on to it. The temptation to modify is there though.

* Anyone know if the 8,905 production number is accurate? I've found very little on it, and it appears to be unconfirmed.

Terry

I got OEM style (not drilled or slotted) at Advance Auto Parts...they were $62 each, if I remember correctly. Since changing them requires dealing with the bearings, I replaced those as well. I think the new rotors, pads and bearings totaled $177.
