I am looking at buying aftermarket wheels for my 04 tahoe and was wondering if the wheels don't have the tpms will the warning light come on, or do i need to install the tpms?

You'll have to install the TPMS on the new rims or the light will come on.

be sure you check the year of the sensors. on 04 yukons only the 04 sensors will work with the 04 computers. took a while, and a lot of research, but '03 and prior are compatible, and '05-'06 work together, but the '04s are stepchildren and only work with themselves.
