Flat paint is the exact opposite of ricerish. Flat is very cool, just not on a hoe.

Rob Dyrdek can pull it off, but anyone else who tries to do it is j ust copying him. Although its bad ass, don't do it.

Gloss...looks way better on our body style. The new tahoe has a more edgy stelth bomber-ish look. If you had a 07 or 08 i would say FLAT all the way.

Still thinkin about that long weekend...?...?..

U can still be murdered out with the gloss look...look at Trend's rig, he keeps his glossy at all times. I like the glossy look too, but Rob and Big's flat black rig looks pretty sick to me.

I'd say gloss, but I want a flat white 997 gt2 porsche and love the flat on certain vehicles. Dyrdek's tahoe is ill, pain in the ass to keep the flat looking good but worth it to achieve the look you're going for. My 82 capri was flat black and mean as hell on the bottle, loved the stealth look and it was cheap to maintain (rattle can in the back of the car).

:rolleyes2:

i understand what murdered out is. you yourself never said what color you were going with. everyone else was talking about murdered, not you. thats why i asked what color you were talking about going with on your truck.

How does murdering out a car make it look cheap...just makes you look like you know what your doing...altezzas don't make your car look too expensive, thats for sure

I'd do gloss man...the whole flat black thing will come to end soon, plus it drops your resale value tremendously...I don't really care for rob's tahoe it's alright I guess...but his almost looks like flat gray/brown...i dunno just doesnt look BLACK

yep , found out that hot rod flat is much cheaper!:D still torn but so far gloss is "mudering out" out the flat!

actually i was the first to even mention the term.... and as far as cheap goes, thats your opinion, i didnt ask if it would look cheap or not, just asked gloss or flat. and ive been talking about black paint for a couple months now, if i wanted an opinion on looking cheap i would ask where you got your taillights
