New owner!! Few Questions...

Hi all! I just purchased a 2000 Z71 Tahoe a couple days ago! Love it so far! I do have a few questions... I'm def not a mechanic by any means but know a little about the basics...first thing I did was check all fluids, filters, etc...seems like she was a little neglected...It has 180,000 miles and clean carfax...pretty sure Engine/Tranny are original but not sure...I basically want to see if dumping some money into it is smart given the age/condition...What are some of the major things I should start with? I know google is a wonderful thing and I've already began researching some stuff...any input/advice would be awesome!! Thanks!! -Jason

change all fluids and filters as you said.Thats about all you can do as far as preventive maintinance goes!

Check your belt and front end, make sure ball joint and front end are tight and check the brakes. Most tire shop will check that stuff for free, I know les schwab does that's if you even live by one since there are only in the north west.
