First off hello to all!
Secondly I just purchased a 1996 LS 4D 4WD with 128k miles for a second vehicle "beater" so I can keep miles off my 07 SRT8 300C. The truck is lifted 3", has Mickey Thompson oversized tires and black rims. I think it has most if not all options.
i got the truck for $3,500 which is (I hope) not a bad price but there are a number of minor issues that need addressing. The tranny and engine are solid but the other issues need addressed and I was hoping for some opinions and advice on my purchase and some do it yourself fixes.
1. The driver side window wont roll down (has power but seems stuck or off track)
2. The AC control unit will not blow air out through the vents, no matter what is selected (floor, vent, defrost) it all comes from the floor. The AC does work however.
3. Power driver seat makes noise but will not move forward or back.
Any advice or whole parts site that you guys use would be most appreciated.
