New Member In NC

New member here from North Carolina. Just bought a 98 4dr Tahoe. It has the 5.7 Vortec, 4wd with less than 1000 miles on a freshly rebuilt motor. Gonna have to look at the yoke and uv joint as I get a thud going into reverse from neutral. And some minor cosmetic issues to deal with. I look forward to some tech. info gained on this site.

Speaking of,,, The rear windows don't roll down all the way, tried that saftey lock on the inside of the door and it did not work. What's the fix??

The back windows wont go down all the way because of its position of the wheel well being in the way.

nice tahoe, almost picked one up that looked really close to that one. you won't believe all the stuff you'll learn on these boards.


I wish my rear windows rolled down at all... theres no air flow in my truck in the summer. (2 door if noone got that )
