After using this site a thousand times to assist me in the many projects I have accomplished on my 1995 Yukon I decided to join and start by offering a huge THANK YOU to eveyone here. Your posts and information posted here have been invaluable and I hope to contribute along the way!

This is my 1995 Yukon... So far I have mainly focused on the outside of the truck. I purchased the truck for $800 as a recovered theft and plan on keeping her awhile.

I have replaced the entire front suspension, tune up, manifolds, brakes, rotors, and a complete exhaust system.

Outside I have blacked her out (it was black and tan with chrome trim) and given her new Cooper tires.

Inside is under construction and I will post pics as I go. I have had to paint the dash, SCRUB THE HELL OUT OF THE INSIDE, and reconnect and or rewire every bulb and switch in the truck! A new pioneer stereo, 6 new pioneer speakers and an 8inch sub have been installed too.

I still have alot of work left to do.

I hope to have fun making her mine!!!!:cool2:

It was in BAD shape!!!! The picture of it with the tan is a before picture with only the front end work done (it sat with the wheels pointed outward before I did the front end) and the new tires. It's tough to see but the tan areas were all rusted and the bumpers pitted and rusty.

The interior was where it was really bad!!!! I am saving those pics for a post on all the work I have done and still have to do. It was a recovered theft and the interior was gutted. Only the seats and a few door panels were left. No radio, no speakers, the dash was smashed and scratched badly, and nothing worked, not the gauges, not the power windows or locks or the seat or any switches at all. And my god it had to be the dirtiest interior I have ever seen short of a car in a scrapyard!!!

I bought it because I noticed that the tranny and the engine had very recently been replaced, as if someone had started to restore her then quit.

I will will post pics when I complete the job.

I am painting the dash, and I plan a few other custom touches along the way, and generally will have to refurbish the entire interior. I have a long way to go still. Its clean and functional right now and an almost daily driver.

Thanks for the welcome!
