hey guys, i am new to these forums. i was lurking around as a guest and i finally joined. i traded in my 2006 chrysler 300c for a 2007 GMC Yukon Denali XL. i took a major hit on trade for my 300 but i did it for my family. we have too many kids now and they will not all fit in the 300 (3 kids, 1 on the way). i guess the SUV market is suffering very badly because i purchased this thing almost at wholesale costs just so the dealer can get rid of it. this ride was a great decision! i have all options available in this so it will keep my family very busy. i love the touch screen navi and the rear backup camera.

this suv doesnt seem too bad on gas. the dealer gave me a full tank of gas. it was on empty when i test drove it. i am assuming the previous owner limped in with it on "E" and traded it for a honda (i was at a honda dealership). i drove about 70 miles and the needle barely got off the "F" on the gauge. it was a combo of city/hwy driving. overall, i give this Denali an A+!

its nice being apart of this forum and ill see you guys in the streets!

I have an 06' 300C, and wanted to do the same thing, but the GMC dealership wasn't going to give me squat for my 300. I ended up keeping my 300c and buying the Denali. I figured i can get more for the 300 selling it to a private party.

it's been almost 2 months since i bought the Denali, and i still haven't sold my 300c.

You may have made the right choice by taking the hit.

yeah it was too hard to sell my 300c on the private market. i just took the hit with the denali. they had enough book relief to get me out of it easy. the chrysler 300 is on the list of vehicles that are rotting on the lots brand new. the same dealer told me that the 07 300c's can be bought for 17-18k on trade with 15-20k in miles. that is just sad. you buy a nice $30k-33k car and it is worth half its value in just 1-2 years. talk about insanity.
