i am building a 2003 yukon. i am doing a 7" lift with the existing 2" leveling kit and putting 40" tires. i am very nervous with the front axle being able to take the abuse over time. any suggestions? can i put an axle from an HD on there as a replacement?

I know some look good but I have never felt an independent front suspension can take the beating a straight axle can. I had a 73 Blazer that I had a Dana 60 at the front and a GM full float 14 bolt at the rear. I thrashed the hell out of it and those axles never broke.
