new guy with lots of questions

As the title suggests I'm new here with a few troubleshooting questions. First the Tahoe is a 2007 LTZ. When It is shifted into reverse I get a service parking assist light. The back hatch opens on its own intermittantly as does the back window. The wipers internittantly come on with the right signal. This was addressed under warranty, the module was replaced, but the problem never went away. My guess on the wipers is that they are recieving a signal occasiolally from the signal switch. Is there a safety swich on the back hatch to keep it from closing on things or people? Could that be my problem? Any suggestions on the problems would be awesome, thanks guys

sounds like you have some problems, and I have no idea what to tell you on the electrical gremlins, but for the safety switch for the hatch, when it closes and hits an object, it should reverse in direction after about 5-8 lbs of pressure. You can check this youself by holding it when it powers down to make sure it works correctly. good luck with the rest of your issues.

Where is this switch located and is thwew an adjustment? Thanks for the help

I don't know if there is an adjustment for this or not. If there is, it may be in the programing, not an adjustment you can make. You may want to call a chevy service center to find out. Sorry I can't be any more help.

I ordered the software and cabling for my AE program. I was checking what it covered considering the price for the upgade and there is 36 pages of programs related to the BCM. The answer to at least some my problems gotta be in there I hope
