Been trolling for a bit now and decided to join.
My Story, I own a 96 Hoe 2 dr. LOVE IT. recently got into an accident(not my fault). A buddy of mine owns a body shop, and he is gonna help me out on repairing, restoring the 96 hoe. I also Love to fish. Should be done in about 2 weeks.
Question 1, I was thinking about spraying the back, area behind ther bench seat with rhino lining or something similar. Being that I deep sea fish often I figured it would be a good idea.

Question 2, the carpet on the inside is pretty much shot. What should i replace the carpet with???
a floor liner or the replacement carpet, or what??

Oh and any good site to pick up accessories woud be great.

umm they sell rubber heavy duty floor mating for these trucks u can use.. i bought carpet for mine off the internet.. idk what else to tell ya...

I know the Z56 and Utility Tahoes came with a rubber floor. Maybe you can replace the carpet with that?

Spraying the back with liner material sounds like a good idea but I don't know how one would pull it off without making a mess of the interior.

Remember, it's all a matter of personal preference. IMO, put a good Weathertech cargo mats in the back and replace the existing carpet with new carpet. Google "Weathertech" to find online stores. Ask local dealers where they have their vehicles carpeted and go there.

I know a guy here in town who has a SWEET classic Bronco. The entire interior from about the half-way point down is rhino-lined. IMO, if you're one of those guys who likes to get dirty, it's the only way to fly. He literally hoses out his interior when he's done playing in the mud. I always wanted to rhino-line the back of my 79 blazer, but just never got around to it. I say look into it and see what you come up with. I think you'll be able to find a lot of examples of it. I know it's pretty common with the old K5 crowd.

Lol, sounds like my carpet in my 96 two door. It was just disgusting when i got it. This weekend i got around to carpeting the back. I bought two rolls of auto carpet from a local hardware store for $15 a peice and started pulling plastic trim off and laying it down.

I still have yet to carpet the rest of my sub box but for now thats what it looks like. I will be doing the rest later on in the week. Should be fun.

Try your local salvage yards. You can pick up a lot of those types of things there. Only tough part sometimes is getting the right color.
Right now I'm trying to get one rear headrest, but the local place that actually has them wants me to buy the whole seat, not just the headrest.
