Hey guys
I'm new from NC but I've had my Tahoe for about 2 months bought it from a used dealer and put bout 2000 miles on and changed the oil and it started making a knocking noise thought it was piston slap turns out to be a rod knock so guess I'm gonna be pulling a motor soon and rebuilding or replacing it. I love my Tahoe and drove it everyday and took it on several trips up until today when I found out it was a rod knock. Its a LS 4x4 Tahoe with 5.3 and has 294000 orig miles on it.
