Hi all :)
I have a 1997 Tahoe GT4 option. The front axle leaks out the seals and it is grinding/whirring when I drive it. I figure it is easier and cheaper to just try and find a good used axel/carrier assembly and just swap it out.

I am unfamiliar with these carriers/axels and My question is, how do I know if I have the one with the two switches/actuators or if it is the one with one switch/actuator?

What and where should I be looking?

Thank-you so very much for any help. I am hoping to do the swap this weekend so I can drive her to work on monday.

IDK, have you check to make shure that the axle is not half engaged?
