need help

hello fellow tahoe owners. I have a 98 tahoe 4wd 5.7 and when im driving sometimes it makes this wierd bump but i have no clue what it could be. It may only do it once or it has done it 3 to 4 times in a row. It is almost like the abs is ingaging for just a second. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

if this happens in the front, and feels like a 'skip' when your turning, maybe its in 4wd mode, and the 2w/4w switch is not illuminated.

It does it when im going streight down the highway

can you talk more about the conditions that your in when this happens?
full throttle, coasting, braking slightly, hard deceleration, duration, frequency etc. does the vehicle pull for that instant that you feel this?

Does the ABS light flicker on and off when this happens, does it feel like this bump is on the left or right sdes? More information will help to solve the problem faster for you.
