Hey all, I'm a newbie here. We have a 2005 Z71 Chevy Tahoe with the navigation system and we're getting ready to go back to Germany. I was curious to see if anyone knew if GM had the navigation discs available for Germany or Europe.

Thanks
-Karl J.

Tom:
Thank you for the reply. I went to that site and entered my VIN and it would only come up with US maps, not EU. Are you able to order the EU discs?

Thanks

Now the EU dvd is no more available on gmnav site?!
I don't know what to do.
Maybe the lucky guy from Swiss will will accept to burn a copy for us?!

Hi
Sorry Buddy...
I think you have not understand me.
I just found this information about this NavDisc. Not the Disc physical.
Like you, i tried to order this disc. But it does not work.

But i have other news. I maked some tests with other NavDisc, and i had good results with a 2004 Saab 95 Nav Disc...you will find it on bit trorrent or other pear to pear networks.
Its not the perfect solution, but it works fine.

The routing works, the voice of the Nav is OK, destination programming works good, but no Points of Interests are showed.
Maybe a newer Saab Nav Disc wil works better.
Saab has the same systems like Chevy in most of their cars.

Both Saab and Opel are owned by GM so it's not entirely unlikely that you may find something thats works satisfying. Or maybe Cadillac? :)

Hello everybody.
I'm coming back after 2 years with the issue Tahoe navigation for Europe.
Because I couldn't find any disc with Europe maps, I ordered from China one equipment all in one system called: TTi 8921, specially made for Tahoe 2007+!
The good news is that is working, it have also DVB-T TV, connections for iPhone, USB and of course the maps for whole Europe, including former East Europe.
The bad thing for me is that I have a 2008 Hybrid model and is not 100% compatible, for example the wire for the back camera doesn't mach the connection of the new equipment, and I have to do some extra work and maybe wiring and I'm not interested.
Conclusion: it can be a solution for navigation in Europe and if anybody is interested in my system, we can find a way to cooperate.
Best regards,

Dragos
