Nav Audio vs. Stock radio, re: XM

I know when in gear the nav/audio screen locks you out of changing pages when in the XM mode. does the same thing happen with the stock radio set up? Where you can't access all style of music, or can you just keep on scrolling to get country, rock, news, etc.??? I know I can get a lockpic with the screen version, but not sure I want to spend all the dough on the nav, etc...which I would rarely use. Hope I asked this question correctly.

I believe the lockpick unlocks all features. I am almost positive I can change pages when I engage the LP. I dont know if thats what you're asking though.

Sorry I wasn't more clear. I wanted to know if on the standard radio when in the XM mode if you were locked out on it as well... and stuck to just a few stations...
