My weekend project

Damnit!!! Im tired of waiting already.....You should have took off today. So you can finish your lights and I could have something to look at while im here at work.

Here they are, just finished up... i will take some pictures tomorrow in the day time, they look pretty cool... not sure how i feel about them yet but i will keep them on for a while

Looks good... what did you do / are you going to do with your stockers? I'm not planning on changing mine out for aftermarkets, but they're losing their clear coat or something... looking for some stock replacements on the cheap...

i was planning on waiting a week or two to see how much i really do like these tails... was planning on keeping the stocks just in case anything falls apart on these or whatever... How about in a couple of weeks, if these are staying; you can just have my old stocks... they are actually in really great shape too... or maybe we can trade stocks or whatever.

Cool... no rush... I just can't stand that they're not shiny. LOL... I guess I could take my high-speed buffer to 'em... like I did on my '96 K1500... :thumbsup:

thanks again dude! it was a fun little project that i would have never tried had i purchased a brand new set of tail... they turned out pretty cool and Im always happy about having something other people dont have.

i REALLY wish i had your budget though... would love to get down and dirty on her!

Copper&Black sold me his old Tails for the cost of shipping, which was less than $9... plus the cost of the paint, which was about $15, and the adhesive to put the lights back together-$5... thats what i have into those tails total. I am super happy with the cost and it was a fun little project and i dont care if anyone steals my ideas.... its the biggest completment anyone can recieve. Im more happy with having something no one else has that anything else.

It was a fun little project and it was actually really easy to do, i tracked down a company that sells rattle cans of GM paint. Used a silicone based adhesive to put the lens back on, used a plastc lens cleaner and botta-bing-botta-boom new tails that no one else has
