Well I just wanted to share a few pics, of my new setup. my old set up I had in my tahoe lastyear made right around 600 engine HP, on a stock escalade 6.0 engine and a 76 mm turbo on 8lb of boost, it blew up so I'm going bigger and better. Its a ERL built aluminum 408. they built it out of my old blown up ls2 that was in my tahoe a few years back. Its a turbo street package with compstar rods and crank, GFX rings and Wiseco pistons. I also made sure to get the best rod bolts, and main studs available.

Also this will have the KB turbo kit on it. I am selling my old t4 kit and 76mm, and srapping this big guy on. Its a t6 kit with the gt91 turbo. Although this is a street driven vehicle I think i want to do something radical with the down pipe, but still uncertain.

And heres where it is all packed away in the garage, sitting with a 454 BB, and a blown up 5.3 I am living in Australia for now!

gonna get myself some LSA heads and a good intake, on about 18 lb of boost hoping to be right around 1000 HP at the engine. already have had a 4l80e out of a 1ton truck in it for a year so hopefully it will keep holding on!

SICK! When and if I ever get to do something like this, would you recommend turbo or supercharger?

well its up to you dude. truthfully I always beloved a turbo setup is more radical and cool, but superchargers are too. most people will tell you with the weight of our vehicles you need a roots supercharger to get off the line quick, but a properly speced turbo with the right gears and converter will be just as quick off the line. its really down to what you like and how much time you wanna spend on it. most supercharger kits are simple install and tuning, for tahoes not so much as easy with turbos/kits.
