Ended up digging thru some of my junk (primairily some from when I did the engine swap for my brother in law on his 85 s10 - took a 92 2.8l and put in his 85 in place of the locked up 2.8) and found an IAC, tried it and it snugged up, the threads did finally break off the old one. Idle is controlled much better.

Prognosis on the front end is that it needs some work, primarily control arm bushings, but I want some stock coil springs to bring ride height back up to normal, IDK if the spindles were changed to drop ones, but I am really not digging the drop anymore..... Did put some shocks on the front and it rides better up front, will put some coilovers on the back possibly......

Went to replace the spindles, coil springs, and control arm bushings, found the ball joints were in need, so added them to the list. In the mean time, the muffler decided to rot some holes (suspect they were in process before) and I HAD to put a 40 series 3" Flowmaster on it.

The beast sits much higher in the front end now, need to get some leaf springs for the rear so it sits higher also, pictures attached of old coils/spindles, new wheel height (can compare to first post in this thread), and a stockish/drop spindle...... Now for the rear...... Oh and if anyone is interested the spindles/coils are on KC Craigslist..... Does $200 sound too high, will work someone a deal from here if they P/U.....

Got the rear springs under it and it sits much better, replaced the rag joint and the steering doesnt have as much of a mind of its own, but it still wanders more than I like. Replaced the heater control as the temp door pretty much liked being on cold, actuator was fine. Now it heats well..... Rear end still has a whine to it from about 35-55 with mild accleration/ just short of coasting. The wife doesnt like riding in it with the flowmaster on it so I may have to go with a quieter muffler, but that is where I am at for now....
