I just thought that i would let everyone know that if you are thinking about getting the MSD Ignition system for your Tahoe it is a great idea!!!!!!!!!! i just installed mine a few days ago and noticed a HUGE difference!!!!!! It is well worth the money. and it only took about 45 min to install (i was going slow). MPG, Power, Responce, All went up.

Sounds great. Was it just the coil you replaced or distributer as well? What's the product called so I can look it up? I really need to boost my MPG. Thanks

its called an MSD Ignition it goes in line between the harness and the coil. it creats a bigger better spark. its called a MSD-6A, part # is 6200. i can not tell you how much it is because it was a birthday presint but when i was looking they are anywhere from $300-$400 depending on whitch one you get. yes its a lot but if you look at it it pays for it self in a few years. i know my brother got it off of Sumit Racing's websight. i have gone 150 miles on this tank of gas and my gage has just started to move off of the full mark.:)

i put some pictures on here also.

there is a power and ground wire, 2 wires into the box from the wireing harness and 2 wires from the box to the coil. it really is easy. the one i got does not have a rev limiter. since my truck already has one from the factory my brother did not get the one with it built in.

the msd 6200 pictured doesn't have a rev limiter. i was gonna get one but im am too poor. u can get em on ebay for like $200 brand new like $120 used. it gives a hotter, longer duration spark like an amplifier for your ignition instead of your speakers. they allow your truck to start easier giving less strain on the battery/starter and they help with higher rpm torque, and obviously throttle response
