Moving Seat

I just got a 2000 Tahoe and both of the front seats move. When I stop they slide about an inch forward and then go back when I take off. Does anybody know of an easy fix other than welding or bolting the seat in place? I spoke to my mechanic and tha only fix he could find was to replace the entire seat!!!

Stop using the JATO to start accelerating and the parachute to slow yourself down. Just kidding.
