Mods in Order of Importance

Hi Folks- I'm curious to know what were the first mods that you did to your Tahoes. Where should a newbie focus first? I have a stock '99 Sport, 58k miles. I'm looking to improve power and handling and to maintain a stock look. Thanks!:umn:
